Frameless glass
Minimal visual interruption and strong sightlines across the pool and surrounding outdoor area.
Glass, aluminium and vertical batten pool barriers planned for safety, clear sightlines and your property’s applicable Victorian standard.

RJL Fencing and Gates installs residential pool fencing and safety barriers across Bundoora and Melbourne’s north. Backed by decades of family fencing experience, we plan glass, aluminium and vertical batten systems around the pool layout, gate movement and applicable Victorian barrier requirements. Owners arrange council registration and formal inspection by an appropriately registered practitioner; these are separate from barrier installation.
In Victoria, a pool or spa that can hold more than 30 centimetres of water needs a compliant safety barrier. The pool construction date helps decide which rules apply. Check the council record before changing the barrier.
Owners are responsible for registration, periodic inspection and lodging a current compliance certificate. Gates, latches, gaps and non-climbable zones must remain compliant after landscaping, furniture and planting are added.
Important: This is general information, not certification advice. Confirm the requirements for your property with your local council, registered building surveyor or pool safety inspector.
Frameless glass is suited to homeowners who want clear sightlines and minimal visual interruption around the pool. The layout still needs to resolve panel sizes, support, gate swing, latch position, ground levels, landscaping and non-climbable zones.
Minimal visual interruption and strong sightlines across the pool and surrounding outdoor area.
Durable powder-coated barriers with practical visibility, low maintenance and a broad range of profiles.
A contemporary system that can add rhythm and controlled privacy while preserving compliant openings.
Fabricated panels and gates shaped around the architecture, levels and other steelwork at the home.
Privacy and airflow in one panel system, subject to pattern, openings and the compliance requirements for the site.
Replacement gates, latches and sections can be assessed where an existing barrier no longer functions or suits the pool area.

Plan where people enter, what must stay visible from the house, how plants will grow and how the gate will close. Also check whether a boundary fence forms part of the pool barrier.

Owners should use the relevant council process and an appropriately registered building surveyor or pool safety inspector for formal inspection and certification. RJL does not represent installation work as the compliance certificate itself.
